5. Los Angeles- As if this city doesn’t sparkel enough, the stars come out on the 4th in the shape of rockets. Enjoy the day at the Rose Bowl Stadium with music, food, and a spectacular fireworks diplay.
4. Las Vegas- Try your luck in sin city, but step away from the poker table long enough to gaze at the show in the sky. Visitors can get a great view of the display right on the strip.
3. Chicago- Grant Park, with a view of Lake Michigan looming in the distance, and a picnic packed for 2. Swoon. This classic american tradition is put to life when you tune your radio into the American themed soundtrack to accompany the firework display.
2. New York City. Sponsored by the shopping super store Macy’s this display is first class all the way. Now located over the Hudson River, so that the bombards and bursts reflect over the water. With over 40,000 shells this 26 minute display is not to be missed.
1. Washington DC- Back where it all started, this is the most attended event in the cities calander. With the backdrop the Capital Building and Washington Monument its truely a sight to be seen.
